Hello Painters! This class involves lots of prep work on our end, so please provide us with the required material ASAP. We strive to do our best for you! A prompt submission really helps to expedite this process and allow extra time for those special details.

* Start Here *
- Choose 3 photos (from the shoulders up) of yourself facing the camera, and a partial side profiles (No filters please). We will choose the one that will work best for the abstraction and composition. Keep in mind this is a portrait, so focus on that lovely face of yours, and good lighting is very helpful! (If you’ve had any professional pictures taken, those are good options too!)

The most applicable of the 3 images will be enlarged, set to a sepia filter, then traced onto a 16″ x 20″ canvas.

LOTS of individual help/attention will be given during this class to help ease any stress and assure that you’ll have a wonderful experience. Remember this is a abstracted self portrait, it may not look that much like you by the end of the class. Rather you are using a photo of yourself as a reference for this unique painting!
