According to Native American lore, Multnomah Falls was created to win the heart of a young princess who wanted a hidden place to bathe. This famous Oregon landmark waterfall is as magnificent and memorable as any in the country; at 611-feet-tall, the roaring, awe-inspiring cascade of icy water exemplifies the power and beauty of nature.
Join us on Saturday, June 24th to paint your very own “Multnomah Falls”; a highly favorited Vino and Vango original work. See why for yourself when yours springs to life!
You’ll dive right in to your creativity as you learn how to add subtle hints of color and shade that add depth and intrigue to your work. Subtle hues of peachy pink and butter yellow bring the roaring Falls right off the canvas; various hues of green, yellow, grey, and raw umber bring out the sunlight’s reflection and shadows on the sheer cliffs, treetops, and misty spray. As you learn how to layer paint with easy brush strokes in our signature “painterly” style, you’ll be well on your way to bring Multnomah Falls home to your walls!
Learning’s great fun.. But it wouldn’t be Vino and Vango without the pARTy! Not simply a class, but a great time and a truly fun experience await you. Bring your own food / wine / beer / sparkling cider, as you wish; then get ready to paint, laugh, sip, and snack yourself silly.
Our artist instructor will be happy to (..must) pour your adult beverages for you, too. 🙂
We will guide you all the way through – don’t worry, it’s *so* much easier than you think~! Canvases are sketched on to help you out! – And we’ll let you make as many artistic choices as you would like, of course.
(Seriously, don’t be intimidated! Our instructors know just how to make sure you’re feeling comfortable and knowledgeable. A helping hand is available if you feel you should need one – though we do LOVE to see everyone’s own take on the original!)
Come join the fun – We’ll see everyone there!
