It may have been several decades since we’ve heard “What’s your sign..?” bandied about, but we welcome the opportunity to say it – albeit with a whispered ‘on’ tucked between words – for our “What’s (on) Your Sign?” Painting pARTy!
On the 19th, we’ll be painting up this pretty piece on a 16″x 20″ canvas, using rich ochre and varying shades of jeweled teal and cranberry to bring about the sentiment of the season. Meanwhile, we’ll be prepping your canvases for you, as you’ll have sent an email to [email protected] with the two words that you’d like to display, per painting participant, using your pretty palette. Might you choose, “Thank You”, or perhaps, “Welcome Home”? We wonder if you’ll be painting up, “The Johnsons”? That one might be a little odd if your last name isn’t Johnson, but – who are *we* to judge. Perhaps it’s to be a holiday offering for the neighbor family Johnson! After all, ’tis the season, and this piece would make a wonderful hand-made-from-the-heart gift!
Your Artist Instructor will expertly guide you through your painting experience; you’ll learn brushstrokes, color, and composition – even as you pARTy along! At evening’s end, you’ll bring home a masterpiece, made by your own hand. …An artist is born!

Bring your favorite wine, beer, cider, snacks, soda, juice, cake, balloons… what have you! Don’t worry about the rest; we supply ice for chilling drinks, napkins, plates, cups, utensils, bowls for chips, tongs and more! Note: Please allow us to open and pour your adult beverages, per OLCC regulations. We are happy to do this. While those consuming alcohol must be over 21, all ages are welcome to attend events at Vino & Vango!
